Improving the homes and lives of U.S. veterans
Since 2011, The Home Depot Foundation has invested more than $650 million in veteran causes, well on our way to reaching our commitment of $750 million by 2030.
That investment has helped improve more than 70,000 veteran homes and facilities by repairing homes for senior veterans, supporting veterans at risk of homelessness, providing smart homes and home modifications for catastrophically wounded veterans, and more.
With tens of thousands of Home Depot associates who are veterans, active-duty servicemembers or military spouses, giving back to veterans is deeply rooted in our values. Together with our nonprofit partners, we’ve helped cut veteran homelessness in half, but there is still work to be done.
